If there has been one beauty obsession this season that you can't escape it's been the focus on nails (as I type this, a peach and aqua combo wriggle in front of me). A slick of color or two is the perfect way to spruce up your look- after all it's removable, cheap and there's hundreds of colors and possibilities to choose from.
Just when you've thought you've seen it all when it comes to nail art, big cosmetic brands have just launched Magnetic Nail Polishes. Instead of needing fancy skills and patience to create nail patterns all you need to do is apply your color then turn the lid upside down and sweep an in-built magnet over them. It's quick drying and doesn't need a base of top coat to have staying power either.
We all love nail polish and nail art is a must-have trend, but sometimes it isn’t easy to achieve this chic nail look. Try out Magnetic Nail Polish. No, your nails aren’t technically magnetic, but the bottle does come with a magnetic cap which allows you to change the nail polish from pretty to wow within seconds. The question is, does it work and does it look like the must-have nail art trends? We put it to the test to see if it works, and if it looks chic enough for nail art.
Applying this product is simple. You apply the first coat like any other polish – formula is opaque, pigmented and quick-drying. The next part is trickier. After your first coat is dry, apply a liberal amount of polish for your second coat. Immediately after, take the overcap with the magnet and place it above your nail – making sure not to touch your wet polish – and wait for 10-20 seconds!
